The little Lord Jesus in a manger lay
Holy birth, Holy babe, born in the Virgin’s way
Mary courageously said, “I’ll bring forth my Lord, come what may.”
For He came to redeem us, who are in His hands, mere clay
The babe grew into a man to save mankind day after day
At Christmas may this babe be born in our hearts forever to stay!
