The Shepherds, the new born Babe lying in a manger found.
Then they worshipped Him and their hearts with true joy did abound!
The Wise men saw a star that was one of a kind.
Following it with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh for the King was what they had in mind.
The Angels the Christmas story sang
And the whole of heaven with rejoicing rang.
Joseph held Mary by the hand
While she gave birth to the Saviour in a lowly place that was far from anything grand.
May the Lord of Christmas be born in our hearts today
For His love and peace with us will forever stay!
