The bright rainbow in the sky
Shows God’s love for me from on high
He sees my tears and hears my sigh
Only God to me is my comfort nigh
He keeps me from believing the devil’s lie
And He hears my deepest heart’s cry
To win over sin I must always try
With God’s help I won’t be left dry
So I don’t have to pause and ask why
For God’s presence makes life sweet by and by.
