On that cold wintry night
When the landscape was all white
Virgin Mary fought the good fight
And brought forth the Saviour so fair and bright
The shepherds were filled with fright
While the Angels announced the birth with all their might
So they rushed to see the solemn sight
And worshipped the King with Joy and delight
The wisemen came too with their gifts aright
Following the star huddling close and tight
Their hearts were easy and light
As they bowed down with lives upright
We too must come no matter what our plight
Allowing our lord Jesus to write:
“All what is wrong I’ll put to flight
So that you can live true and right”
